· Including strengthening for knees and butt m/s

· Trunk  flexibility

Get Ready for Skiing!!!!!

 Toddlers a source of… back pain!?

 

So you have a bout of back pain AND you also have a home of toddlers—well there is something you should know—expect to take longer to recover from that injury.

Toddlers need to be lifted out of cots, into car seats, up from the floor for a cuddle, down from high chairs, played with and so on. Most of these activities place significant amounts of stress on the back.

Sooo you must THINK about how to either avoid some of these activities or perform them in a way that places less strain on your back.

I remember being amazed at the patient recovering from          a prolapsed disc who was surprised to find that playing “areoplanes” with his son aggravated his symptoms and significantly slowed down his healing process.                               LL

 

 

 

 

Some symptoms you may be experiencing and should see a Physio about:

· Headaches in the area of the ear

· Limited and/or painful jaw movements

· A “fullness” sensation in the ear

· Teeth grinding

· Clicking jaws
