Linda Lewis Physiotherapist
In the time Linda has been in the city she has built a highly reputable practice offering excellent care and service.
Linda, being a typical baby boomer is passionate about physical wellbeing as being one of the best ways to help prevent many of the physical problems normally associated with the aging process.
Her goal of course is to get to retirement in as fit a state as is possible so that this stage of life can be enjoyed actively - and this is Linda’s goal also for her patients/clients.
Linda can be found rowing in the Brisbane River in the early hours several times a week. In November last year Linda competed the grueling 8.7k Head of the Yarra race in Melbourne. She has competed regularly in the Masters’ Events, bringing home Bronze at the 2007 National Masters in Penrith.
Linda has also decided that that having reached her fifties with most of the duties of motherhood behind her that now is the time for being intrepid and has recently overcome a fear of water to gain her open water scuba diving license. In the process she has discovered an underwater wonder world of delights but still remains puzzled as to why other divers get excited about seeing sharks.
Luke Humphreys Physiotherapist
Luke graduated from the University of Queensland in 1999. After gaining valuable experience working in the hospital sector Luke joined Linda as a colleague in the city in 2001.
Aside from physiotherapy Luke also has a passion for the arts. In 2003 he completed a Diploma in Film and Television whilst also working almost full time as a physiotherapist. Luke is our in-house film critic.
Luke’s area of physiotherapy special interest is in the treatment and management of musculoskeletal injuries and in particular neck and back pain incorporating core stabilisation techniques. Like Linda, Luke has very much an holistic approach to the treatment of conditions. The clinic’s approach is general is to look at how the total body is functioning—not just the presenting painful part.
Luke’s experience and attention to detail enables him to not only address the immediate symptoms but identify and correct any underlying issues of your problem.
